Watermark or No Watermark

Pho at Treasure Island in Vegas

In my ongoing quest to be an interesting and better blogger, I am having a watermark or no watermark debate.

I don’t like it. I think it looks kind of weird. I am distracted by it.

On the other hand, I can see why bloggers put a watermark on their photos. They don’t want anyone stealing their pictures and possibly profiting from them.

Also, Gastronomnom brings up a good point it’s viral marketing and branding.

I guess it’s not good enough to assume people know I took the pictures (for the most part).

no watermark

Also, I’m playing around with editing software. I don’t have photoshop so I’m using the software that came with my camera. Then I’m using flickr’s editing software. Which photo (please ignore the watermark) looks better?

Oh? How was the noodles?

Not great and rather expensive. But you’re in Vegas and it was probably a nice change from the hearty buffets.
