The Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk is the second Thursday of every month.
I really enjoy this event though it’s gotten so wildly popular you can expect quite the crowd at the various art galleries. And on the streets, people meander to and fro gawking at the street vendors, chowing on street food (food trucks!) and are entertained by musicians. Don’t forget to check out the local bars as they often have drink specials.
This month’s Art Walk was really fun. Perhaps because the weather is warming up and there were even more people than usual. After trying out the new Manila Machine, we wandered around just taking in the sights.
Here are my favorite photos of the evening.
Giant Frida Kahlo outside of the LATC.
Flying Pig and the Dim Sum trucks satisfying Art Walkers’ cravings.
And of course, what’s an Art Walk without groovy art to gaze at?
I’m looking forward to next month’s!
