Los Feliz: Lunch at En Sushi

I’ve noticed En Sushi for years in Los Feliz but never checked it out until I found myself in the area recently for lunch.

We wanted something simple and light and sushi sounded like a good idea. We ordered seaweed salad and shishito peppers to start.

 

I loved the plating of the seaweed salad. I love all types of seaweed and this was just so pretty. The shishito peppers were good, very standard.

 

I opted for the sashimi combo and my friend had the sushi combo. Both came with salad and miso soup.

 

I always go back and forth on combos but they are a good value for lunch. There were no complaints about the sushi quality.

 

I found myself with almost too much fish (no such thing) with the sashimi combo. Lots of thick cuts of fish including my favorite yellowtail and salmon.

I would like to come back to sit at the sushi bar the next time I’m in the area. The bar is always more fun.
