Culver City: Get Your Tickets for the Prohibition Ball at the Culver Hotel

Prohibition is over

Prohibition is over

Prohibition may be over but it’s just in time for the Culver Hotel‘s 90th Anniversary party! The Culver Hotel is celebrating by holding the Prohibition Ball this Saturday, September 6. The Hotel opened when Prohibition was just starting and it’s rumored the underground tunnels were used by bootleggers. It could be almost certain there was a speakeasy (or a few) in the vicinity.

Get your tickets here! Entrance fee includes open bar, food, live music, stogies, gambling, burlesque show, valet and part of the proceeds benefits the Culver City Historical Society.

Think the Great Gasby and put on your best 1920s inspired clothes for this special night.

Event highlights:

  • 7 spirits stations plus the debut of the Hotel’s 18 new drinks
  • Passed food includes crab stuffed mushrooms, suckling pig tacos, lobster Newburg, lamb sliders and more
  • Burlesque show includes a wandering magician to entertain guests
  • With the Hotel’s link to the Wizard of Oz, expect Munchkins to be in attendance!
  • Cake!
