Laguna Beach: Dinner at Broadway by Amar Santana
During my Negroni Week research, we stopped in at Broadway by Amar Santana for dinner.
I was craving pasta and since I love cavatelli, the dish with lamb ragout sounded awesome. It was served with a goat cheese foam that drew oohs and aahs.
Then we proceeded to snack our way through the menu, getting a bit of this and that. Fries were then a must. Crispy and addicting, these were gone in mere seconds.
I also wanted something on the lighter side and fish sounded reasonable. The Hawaiian Ono is a very firm fish and just perfect for one person. Though I did share!
We also tried the toasted farro risotto. Very rapidly we were filling up but couldn’t resist another side dish.
Brussels sprouts may be losing the trendy vegetable title but they’re still tasty and wonderful. I’ll order them whenever I see them. At Broadway, these are a welcome side dish.
