Porchetta Hunt: Feast of San Gennaro at Dominick’s & Little Dom’s
This week Dominick’s and Little Dom’s is celebrating the Feast of San Gennaro with a special street food menu. Available until Sunday, both restaurants will offer 10 items including the pictured rice ball. But on my mind is the porchetta sandwich.
I have a well-developed passion for pork and have been chasing the best porchetta sandwich. It started with not being able to get it at Salumi in Seattle (they ran out) but I did end up with probably the most memorable meatball sub. Then I got to try Roti Roli’s version this summer at the Ferry Building Farmers Market in San Francisco. Could Dominick’s and Little Dom’s be my LA fave? I’m going to try to find out!

I probably should’ve gone to Dom’s instead of the actual festival… I bet the food would’ve been better (although it was good at the fest) but it was so F-in HOTT I stayed less than an hour

I’ve heard how crazy that fest can get. hopefully Dom’s/ Little Dom’s will do their special bar menu again next year.
