BoHo Reopens at Hollywood & Highland
BoHo reopened this week at Hollywood & Highland. Previously, the location was on Sunset, near the Arclight Theatres. Now in a bigger space with similar decor, it feels less like Grandma’s house and more like club complete with young things spilling in from nearby clubs.
The menu will be similar to the old location. This new location boasts a Wolfgang Puck wood-burning pizza oven. I chatted with the guy making the pizzas for a private party at BoHo a couple of weeks ago and he said the oven got as 12,000 degrees. The lower oven was around 10,000 degrees. The pizza goes in literally for a couple of minutes and comes out crisp. We tried the chorizo and quince, Margherita and Greek pizzas.
We also tried a few appetizers including ahi tuna tartare with wonton chips, pork belly sliders and sliders. I hope the sliders make it to the permanent menu.
Then we moved onto dessert.
We enjoyed the peanut butter and jelly bread pudding. The flavors brought back childhood memories. Maybe I am at Grandma’s again.
