DTLA: Salvage Bar & Lounge Opens Tonight
Salvage Bar & Lounge opens tonight in Downtown Los Angeles. I was invited to check out the new bar last night as part of friends and family night.
The party featured some of the bar food that’s offered at Salvage including the spicy chicken bites and popcorn shrimp.
Salvage was built from scrap parts hence the name. I really liked the eclectic furnishings- anything from old church stained glass to murals to futuristic lighting. The globes of light in the front patio were very pretty.
Inside, there’s a large lounge in the back that looked comfortable for groups.
I didn’t try any of the drinks but I’d pick the Rum Runner (Cruzan light rum, Cruzan dark rum, 99 Bananas liquor, blackberry liquor, orange juice, pineapple juice, grenadine, float of Barcadi 151), Organic Margarita (4 Copas organic tequila, lime, agave) or Sangria Sensation.
I look forward to trying Salvage for happy hour in the near future.
