Step 5- Enjoy!

(Also I do recommend buying a big bottle of water at Mitsuwa, the cute Japanese grocery store where Santouka is at– you’ll need it!)

Oh, you want a real review? I love Santouka ramen. It’s one of my favorites but I hardly go because the closest location to me is in West LA. I happened to be in Orange County and was there early enough to grab a bowl from the Costa Mesa location. I have also been to the Torrance location. All three are equally good. The broth is thick, porky and although it’s the salt broth, it’s not actually salty. It’s definitely savory but that’s why you’ll need a big thing of water. Those dinky cups they provide you just can’t combat the impending food coma you’ll fall into once you finish your bowl. Some may like getting the small or medium bowl and add a rice bowl. I didn’t like their choices as much as Daikokuya for rice bowls so I went with the large bowl of ramen.
