Beverly Hills: Lobsterpalooza at Caulfield’s
Caulfield’s at the SIXTY Beverly Hills (formerly the Thompson Beverly Hills) is featuring a lobster night every Thursday this summer from 5 – 11 p.m. Dubbed Lobsterpalooza, you can get two lobster rolls for $22. Choose from 6 different takes on a lobster roll.
Cold:
New England – lobster, citrus aioli
Island – lobster, pineapple slaw
Banh Mi – lobster, pickled vegetables, sambal
Warm:
Connecticut – lobster, butter sauce
Dynomite – baked lobster, spicy aioli
Po Boy – fried lobster, lettuce, tomato, tartar sauce
I tend to like warm sandwiches so the Connecticut was my choice. But I also enjoyed the lighter Banh Mi. The Po Boy was also tasty. I heard others enjoying the Island with the great pineapple slaw. Don’t forget to get fries or mac and cheese. Caulfield’s still has wonderful guacamole as well to make it a true fest, Lobsterpalooza style.
