Chinatown: New Menu Launching at General Lee’s Soon

General Lee’s under the leadership of new bar manager, Chris Day, will be launching a new cocktail menu in the next few weeks. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of Thunder which is going on the new menu.
Naturally, I wanted to order Thunder right away as I’m a brown, bitter, stirred girl but restrained myself and ordered a Kinda Pina Colada, a special of the evening I went. Then I couldn’t fight my natural inclinations for a good whisky and went for it. I love Manhattan variations and this is a delightful twist with Scotch, Amaro Montenegro and really interesting vermouth and bitters.
