Hollywood: Progressive Dinner at PokiNometry, Jinya Ramen Express, Cre8 Crepe and Mama Shelter

I did a progress dinner a couple of weeks back in Hollywood. Let’s start with poke at PokiNometry where you can build your own bowl of fabulous fish. PokiNometry is at the Hollywood and Highland center and it’s on the third floor of what they call their Dining Deck. I kept it simple with just fresh cuts of yellowtail, tuna, salmon and a big heaping of roe over rice. I liked the crunch of cucumbers and you could also get this with chips or salad instead of rice. Make sure you tell them how spicy you want it.
But don’t fill up too much though because we’re about to hop over to Jinya for ramen.

Jinya Ramen Express
As mentioned, we went over to Jinya Ramen Express for a wonderful bowl of ramen. I already love Jinya Ramen and Robata Jinya so it was great to get an express version. I probably overloaded my bowl as I got pork and tofu. Plus I stuffed it with a ton of veggies. It would be a nice quick dinner before a movie nearby.

Cre8 Crepe
For dessert, let’s head over to Cre8 Crepe where I loaded my fairly simple crepe with fresh mango, pineapple, nutella with vanilla ice cream. I also got nuts. Some others went to the sweeter side and got theirs loaded with Oreo pieces, condensed milk, rainbow sprinkles, fruity pebbles, froot loops and more.

Mama Shelter
And we’ll end our lovely progressive dinner with drinks at the new Mama Shelter hotel. Head to the rooftop and get an amazing drink. I liked the After Hours, a strawberry and bourbon drink.
