DTLA: Distillery Tour of The Spirit Guild

 

The Spirit Guild in the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles has been open about a year now. They do tours Wednesday through Sunday. Tours are currently $10 which you get a $5 off coupon towards a bottle purchase. The tour lasts about 45 minutes.

 

I really liked the Astral Pacific Gin which is made with clementines from one of the owner’s family farm.

 

All those shiny stills…so beautiful.

 

I was at the distillery for a special meeting so we had some cocktails with the spirits. I enjoyed the Astral Pacific gin in a Negroni (top photo).

 

Like the gin, the vodka, Vapid Vodka, is also distilled from clementines. I think this gives it a little extra something.

There are a few other distilleries in the Arts District. I’ll be posting about the others soon! Is the new bar crawl a distillery crawl?
