FOUR: Thursday Happy Hour at Checkers DTLA

Last week, LA Weekly came out with their latest list of favorite happy hours. I was shocked when I didn’t see Drago Centro or Checkers on that list. I love Drago Centro has happy hour every day, all day. Next to that happy hour, Checkers has rapidly become my favorite for Thursdays.

Thursday happens to be my favorite day of the week. It is the start of my weekend and I look forward to winding down the week  with a cocktail.

It’s a good thing FOUR at Checkers is such a great happy hour. Once a week on Thursdays beginning at 4 p.m., Checkers offers food and drink items for $4 a piece. The great thing for those of us with fickle palates, the happy hour menu and cocktail list changes every week. It could focus on anything such as wine, whiskey or a theme. Right before the winter holidays, we had cocktails inspired by the season.

Then on another Thursday tailored around bourbon, we were treated to $4 Makers cocktails and food.
