Pasadena: Naga Naga Ramen
I’m excited about the Ramen Run tomorrow but since I love ramen so much, I had a bowl on Monday.
It was a cold day in L.A. Rainy and gloomy so a steaming bowl of noodles always does the trick.
At Naga Naga, a mini-local chain, they offer three styles of ramen along with a selection of what they call “revolutionary” ramen. I haven’t heard the best things about them but it’s hard to compete in a town where there are some very good noodle joints nearby.
I have to say the gyoza were some of the oddest I’ve ever seen. They were hiding under a thin crepe-like cover. I wondered if they were pan-fried in a pan with a bit of batter to create that sheet?
We slurped up our noodles and though I wasn’t overwhelmed, I felt warmer on this cool night.
