All-Night Happy Hour at Copa d’Oro

 

On Mondays, Copa d’Oro in Santa Monica features an all-night happy hour.What I like about the cocktails at Copa d’Oro (besides the hot bartenders mixing them), are that they are classic libations.

 

Last Monday, I enjoyed a Gold Rush, a cocktail I discovered at Copa d’Oro a couple of years ago. This time around, it was more juice than honey but it’s still a pretty good cocktail to start the night off with.

It had been hours since lunch, ice cream and happy hour stop #1 (ha!) so I decided to get a light snack. The tuna and arugula panini seemed like a good bet and it was. Full of arugula, which cut the fresh tuna salad, this enabled me to enjoy another cocktail.

I ended the night with one of my favorite cocktails, a Manhattan. I neglected to request it up but it wasn’t bad on the rocks.

I’d like to come back to try some desserts! It was fun to see a DJ in the corner and it seemed like a low-key date spot on Mondays.
