Sexy Singles Soiree at XINO
On Tuesday, over 20 sexy singles went to the special Valentine’s Day themed “Get Lucky” Sexy Singles Soiree at XINO. They mingled, mingled and tingled! XINO generously provided appetizers in the first hour. In an informal vote, the favorites were the Rose Petalini and the Aprhodite.
With drinks in hand, singles got to give each other handmade Valentine’s Day cards as well as played our ever popular Singles Bingo game.
And the end of the night, I matched the group up and have already gotten requests for future matches. The following are the cocktail recipes if you’d like to make them for a lover on Valentine’s Day.

Served in a Martini Glass with Chocolate Rim

1.5 Belvedere Vodka
1 Guava Juice
.25 Rose Extract
Method : Shaken
Served in a Martini Glass Garnished with a Rose Petal
Mon Cherie
Half Glass of Champagne
Shaken and then strained :
.5 Vodka
.5 Peach schnapps
.25 Cherrie Juice
Served in a Chilled champagne flute
Garnished with Cherrie

The rose petal is a nice touch. That Aphrodite sounds kind of gross to me. While I’d be disappointed to buy one of these cocktails at a restaurant, they would be quite nice for making at home since they look simple and failproof.

The bartender had a vase full of roses at the bar which was really nice. I’m sure one rose got destroyed in the making of these cocktails.
The Aphrodite actually wasn’t bad. It wasn’t too sweet but I think it could have used an extra kick- maybe a shot of espresso.
Yes, it was a very good turn-out despite some last-minute drop outs. We had a bunch of walk-ins so that was really cool.
