All Night Happy Hour at Fraiche
When I heard Fraiche in Culver City started doing all night happy hour, I couldn’t wait to try it. They do have a brand new list of cocktails but these aren’t on the happy hour list. Not to worry, a few well cocktails and the truffle burger and you’re good to go!
However, the Minty rocked it with Zalade that night. Normally made with Zubrowska vodka, I got it with gin. The cocktail is made with cucumber puree, fresh mint and topped with lemonade. Easy peasy summer drinkin’.
The truffle burger at $9 for happy hour is one of the best values at Fraiche. It’s juicy and loaded with flavor. Kick it with medium rare, of course.
Still hungry? Go for the mussels. From the Pacific Northwest, these babies are plump and get plenty of bread to mop up that lovely tomato sauce.
Chef Ben Bailly must of thought I was still hungry because he sent over some lovely ceviche. I really liked the apple slaw on top.
One of my favorite things at Fraiche is the mushroom agnolotti. I can’t seem to sneak in there without getting a bite. Chef Ben is also working on new menu items. The pork loin and striped bass are great.
Look for these new menu items soon.
I still need to go back for Brunch. That little taste wasn’t quite enough.
