Pacifico Beer: Adventures on Tap
Pacifico Beer recently embarked on a 5-city tour to highlight Pacifico is now available on tap. To celebrate, they had kegs custom decorated in the five cities; Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. In each city, they invited folks to come out to the keg paintin’ (and drinkin’). Here’s what transpired in Phoenix.

Last week, Pacifico arrived in Los Angeles. I attended the private party at Capsule Labs. Artist Peat Duggins was out back busily painting the Pacifico keg.
Right off the 5 freeway, Capsule Labs is a small vinyl records pressing lab located in a hangar. I loved the view from the hangar of the Los Angeles river. People enjoy the adjacent bike path.
Back inside, they were getting the Pacifico pinata off the ground.
I was sent a GoPro Hero 960 to film the event. Forgive my vid as I learn how to use this thing but you can see how cool the space is.
As you may know, I recently went through Beer 101 and thought Pacifico is a likable beer. I usually order Modelo Negro (a sister brand) if eating Mexican food but now wouldn’t mind Pacifico.
I didn’t get to see the finished decorated keg at the party but I thought this turned out great! Peat was inspired to decorate it resemble the pinata that was later gleefully bashed.
I believe they just hit Seattle so I’m looking forward to pictures of the decorated keg there!
