Las Vegas: Max Brenner Chocolate

 

I took an impromptu trip to Las Vegas last weekend. It was a little over 24 hours and I didn’t eat much. After a non-remarkable breakfast at Bally’s, we went to the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace and my friend who’s been to the Max Brenner in New York insisted we stop in for dessert.

She went for the pure chocolate truffle granita served in the Alice cup (as in Alice in Wonderland). Drink Me, it said and drink we did.

 

I opted for the yellow granita which turned out to be minty green. It’s lemonade blended with fresh mint and ice. I love the combo of mint and chocolate so this was very nice.

We blew all diets out of the water with this hazelnut cream banana toffee crepe. Served with a minted orange salad and caramel ice cream, the crepe was made even more decadent when we poured hot chocolate syrup on top.
