Tasting wine at Fleming's Opening Nights

Every Friday during the month of September, Fleming’s offers a wine tasting of 20 wines for only $25. This tasting includes some food. Last Friday, Fleming’s gave us a sneak peak of their new small plates that start today.

I enjoyed all three of the small plates we tried. The polenta fries were a particular hit with the lamb chops. Since this was a wine tasting, they brought us larger platters. The lamb chops are normally 3 per order and the filet are 4 to an order. The scallops are 3 to an order.

The other new small plates include Jumbo Shrimp Scampi Skewers, Ahi Tuna Skewers, Filet Mignon Skewers and Fleming’s Lobster Tempura. I hope I get to try the jumbo shrimp skewers soon or the lobster tempura.
