Best Fest: Brian Fest Coming to The Fonda on March 30
Best Fest was started in New York by a group of bartenders to support their community. As a major sponsor, Jameson Irish Whiskey shares similar values by supporting the charity with their own Jameson Neighborhood Fund.
Now Brian Fest is coming to Los Angeles on Monday, March 30th. I have gone to Petty Fest and George Fest and loved the concerts. The line up for the concerts are always stellar and there are always surprise guests. Brian Fest coincides with Brian Wilson’s 11th solo album, No Pier Pressure.
Ticket sales benefit Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a fund that supports career musicians in times of need.
I’m so excited to see Brandon Flowers, Flaming Lips, M. Ward, Local Natives and so many more perform Brian Wilson songs.
I wonder who the surprise guests are? Weird Al and Conan O’Brien showed up to George Fest last time.
Beginning in 2012, Best Fest partnered with a major sponsor. With Jameson Irish Whiskey, they were able to present bigger concerts and take the show on the road. There will be drinks featuring Jameson like Irish Mules. But I’m hoping there’ll be a little craft cocktail corner like George Fest. I found great bottled cocktails from Harlowe.
But there’s nothing wrong with a little Jameson Black Barrell on the rocks as well!
See you at Brian Fest!
