Orlando: Drinks at The Courtesy Bar
When I was in Orlando a couple of years ago, there were a few options for craft cocktails. Now there are a few more bars and The Courtesy was recommended to me. We popped in for a drink. I got the Trentino Sling (not shown) and my friend had the Driveshaft. I preferred hers just a touch more. Maybe it’s because I’m more of a whiskey drinker though I do love me some Tequila Ocho.
The Courtesy was super busy on a Wednesday night so we couldn’t get seats at the bar. We sat on a comfy couch by the front door where we could look out the large picture windows. That’s right, it’s a bar with windows! I’m used to windowless dark bars. The Courtesy is more or less pretty dark though. It was an interesting mix of folks including the denim apron-clad bartenders.
After a while we decided to seek out The Woods where I had been a couple of years ago since i wanted to hop onto a bar stool for a nice cold one(I had a Last Word). It turns out The Woods is still my fave bar in Orlando but I like having the options for bar hopping. So check out The Courtesy and The Woods while you’re out in Orlando.
