DTLA: Happy Hour at Blacksmiths
$1 oysters on Thursdays
I recently checked out happy hour at Blacksmiths which had taken over the old The Must space. I had attended a fundraiser for California wildfire victims at Blacksmiths a few weeks ago and made a mental note to return for a proper visit.
And since it was Thursday, we got a dozen oysters as they were a $1 each. These were nice and creamy.

My friend had a whiskey sour. I noticed this one didn’t have egg white but it tasted great.

I got a neat brandy as I’ve been on a brandy kick lately. This one imported from Spain. The happy hour drinks were around $7 each.
We were on our way out to another event but if we had time, I would have also gotten the meatballs and hamachi. Next time I’m returning for a full dinner and/or brunch!
