Orange County: Lunch at Utopia European Caffe

 

I was in Orange County last week and stopped into the new Utopia European Caffe in Tustin. It’s located at the District at Tustin Legacy, a large shopping mall anchored by Whole Foods, AMC Theaters, Union Market and more.

I was going to get a latte but then I spotted the rose latte. It’s beautiful! I loved the bits of pistachio on top of the foam.

 

I’ve never had lentil soup where the lentils had been strained out before. If you enjoy lentil soup like I do, this is a fun one to try. Be sure to squeeze in some lemon. It really enhances the flavor.

 

I probably should have gotten salad with my sandwich but i’m so glad I got the potatoes. These are like the best breakfast potatoes.

I got the tuna melt which a really cool take on a traditional melt. This one is so healthy with lettuce, tomatoes and corn.

Utopia just opened and the vibe is a fun London cafe. I liked the suitcases, the vibrant floral wallpaper and the red phone booth on the patio. I didn’t get any pastries but will be sure to try some the next time I’m in the area.
