SGV: Late Lunch at Kang Kang Food Court

I hadn’t eaten all day and decided to explore Kang Kang Food Court for a late lunch. I haven’t been to the Alhambra location before but I know they’re popular for dumplings and in particular the shen jiang bao. Since I was eating solo, I didn’t want to get an order of those fluffy buns (though somehow I justified an entire plate of dumplings).
Kang Kang has a huge menu and it’s divided by various Chinese regions. I decided to get beef noodle soup which wasn’t very spicy but I appreciated all the spinach that was in it.
The beef was also very tender.

I got the pork and chive dumplings. The wrappers weren’t too thin but they were very tasty. It’s mostly chives (healthy!).
I love that Kang Kang is open pretty much all day from 7:30 a.m. to 11 at night. I can count on them for a quick and easy meal.
