Las Vegas: Checking out Eataly at Park MGM

prime rib sandwich

One day in Las Vegas, I explored Eataly at Park MGM. I knew right away we were going to share the prime rib sandwich. My friend went off to order it and returned with another sandwich and some sides while I was exploring the market and bought some Italian candy.

chicken salad sandwich

The prime rib was amazing. My friend covered the chicken salad with extra cheese and crushed red pepper. It made it even creamier and just the perfect amount of spice.

arancini

I enjoyed the Italian rice balls aka arancini. These were surprisingly light and not at all dense.

The beet salad also got a dose of extra cheese.

now drinking brown, bitter, stirred

Later that night, we hit up one of the bars at Eataly. I loved sitting around one as if I was actually in Italy. Or what I imagined a bar would be like in Milan. Our bartender was very nice and accommodated my brown, bitter, stirred request. There were so many different amari on disply, it was fun to taste some new ones.

white negroni

I decided to try another drink, a white Negroni. We were in for a long night of bar hopping so I wanted to keep things light.

If you’re staying at the Park MGM, this is a very good spot to stop at. And just outside of Eataly were more restaurants I want to try including Roy Choi’s Best Friend. And if you’re not staying at Park MGM, I still recommend a stop in! You never know when you need some Italian candy or a prime rib sandwich.
