Langer's Deli #1
This week I was telling someone about my love for pastrami. Like most Angelenos, I love Langer’s. However, I have been trying to give up dairy. I continue to eat dairy sporadically but if I can skip it, I do.
And although the #19 with pastrami, Swiss cheese, cole slaw and Russian dressing is the favored sandwich, I opted for the #1 which is just pastrami, cole slaw and Russian dressing. There are more variations of this sandwich. You could go with just pastrami if you like but I do like the moisture the cole slaw provides.
Now dreaming of the #1.

Langer’s? Sigh. Still on my to-do list, tho I’m now about 15 minutes away by bus. That is a great pic.
