The Den of Hollywood Happy Hour

I love weekend happy hours! The Vixen and I along with several others checked out the Den of Hollywood for happy hour last Sunday. They offer happy hour daily from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. That’s 7 hours of drinking, folks!

Small plates are half off from 3-7 p.m., however. Well drinks, beer and wine are half off but double check with your server. Someone in our party tried to get a mojito but there’s not such thing as a “well” mojito, apparently. Luckily, they were nice enough to honor the happy hour price since we weren’t told when we ordered. I got an Old Rasputin for the cheapola price of $4 a pint.

There were way too many things I was interested in on the small plates menu but we weren’t particularly hungry. Next time I’m getting the angry mac, bacon and cheese doughnuts, deviled eggs, oysters and shrimp cocktail!

The grilled artichoke was quite beautiful. The pork belly tacos were amazing! You got four for only $5.

Vixen got the sliders and I got the hot wings. I liked the wings because they were quite easy to eat. As much as I like wings more than drummettes, wings are harder to eat because of the double bone. The Den removes one so you can gobble it up in one fell swoop.
