Santa Monica: The Misfit
Leave it to Vixen’s LA Happy Hours to throw a great Happy Hour! She invited everyone to a free happy hour at the new Misfit last weekend. The mischevious Misfit opened recently in the old Anisette space.

Besides all the wonderful wells (think Eagle Rare, Tito’s Vodka, Glenfiddich and more) and beers, the Misfit served up a tasty white sangria.

I got a taste of some of the Happy Hour offerings. The spicy caramel nut corn went FAST! Definitely dip the prime rib into the jus, it just made the sliders wonderful. I liked the housemade pickles with the sliders as well.
Next time I’ll have to try the Misfit dip plate (hummus and raw veggies) as well as the quinoa salad with farmers’ market picks.

Somehow I missed the entire case of cocktail shakers. I guess I was too focused on the Glenlivet and Eagle Rare.
Agreed about the jus. I thought the prime rib french dip sliders were merely adequate until I dipped them. Yum.
