Chaya Brasserie October Industry Night Recap
With the next Chaya Brasserie Industry Night coming up on Monday, November 7th, I thought I should recap this past month’s event. The first couple of events featured roast pig tacos and this month, Chef Haru brought in a huge tuna. I saw him rapidly reduce the fish from a couple of hundred of pounds of flesh to dainty, bite-sized sushi. He says it’s a surprise what the freebie food is next month but it’ll be fab, I’m sure. I’m also interested in the animal-style fries!
Are you as sushi greedy as me? You bet I was eying the tuna and first in line for a plate.
The tuna was so fresh, you really didn’t need condiments.
It was pretty cool to get all those different cuts and knowing it was from the same tuna.
Of course we couldn’t monopolize the free food so we threw down some mere change for drinks and other bites. The small bites menu starts at $3. The compressed watermelon is my fave.
Industry After Hours, every first Monday of the Month, 10P-1AM
The next one is Monday, November 7!
