Speed Rack Returns to Los Angeles January 25 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel

 

The female bartending competition, Speed Rack, returns to Los Angeles on Sunday, January 25. The competition which starts at 3 p.m. is at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Your $20 ticket includes lots of punch samples and food. Bartenders are competing for the title of Miss Speed Rack LA. Winners from the local competition go on to the finals in NYC in June.

Proceeds from ticket sales go towards breast cancer research, education and prevention. Over a quarter million dollars have been raised so far since Speed Rack’s inception four years ago. It’s gone international with competitions in the UK, France and Canada.

I also expect entertainment from judges Alex Day (Honeycut, Normandie Club), Chef Marcel Vigneron (Beefsteak), Charlotte Voisey (William Grant & Sons) and Dushan Zaric (The 86 Co.) with Chris Patino (Pernod-Ricard) and Adrian Biggs (Bacardi) as emcees.
