Speed Rack Heading to Las Vegas March 6

Speed Rack, the bartending competition that raises funds for breast cancer research, education and prevention, heads to Las Vegas on March 6. Since there isn’t a competition in Los Angeles this year, some of our local ladies will be joining the fun in Sin City along with competitors from San Diego and even Salt Lake City. The talent from all the cities including the host city indicates it’s going to be an amazing and fierce battle.

The four bartenders from Los Angeles are:

To date, Speed Rack has raised over $350,000 for breast cancer research. This is the fifth year and I have gone to at least one Speed Rack event every year even going to the finals in New York a couple of years ago. Regional winners will have the chance to compete for the title of Miss Speed Rack 2016.

Tickets are $20 online which are on sale now or $25 at the door. Tickets includes food and drink and of course, fantastic entertainment. My favorite emcee Chris Patino (Pernod Ricard) and his wild suit jacket take the stage again. The judging panel includes Miss Speed Rack 2011 Yael Vengroff, the Godfather of the Las Vegas bar scene; Tony Abou-Ganim, two-time Speed Rack Southern California winner Mia Mastroanni and Vegas Seven senior editor Xania Woodman.
