Chinatown: Goal for 2017 – Eat at Howlin’ Ray’s

Howlin’ Ray’s
I have tried at least 5 times to eat at Howlin’ Ray’s. I’d like to report what I think of it but sadly, I haven’t had a proper meal there. So the goal for 2017 is to actually wait an hour or more to eat at Howlin’ Ray’s.

they were really nice to us
However, I did go one time around 5 p.m. and at the time, they weren’t open though they were still calling numbers. I thought I had lucked out because there was no line. But alas. They were kind enough to give us each a piece of chicken. It wasn’t spicy so that’s why I want to check out this Nashville hot spicy chicken at Howlin’ Ray’s.

Oh yeah…
So the regular chicken is very moist and juicy. It’s as good as Crawford’s which is my favorite American fried chicken right now. My favorite Japanese fried chicken is at Torigoya.
Everyone’s gotta have goals, right?

The waffles. Don’t forget the waffles. I like the waffles there more than I like the chicken. Waffles are only available on the weekends though.
