Hollywood: Salad and Pizza at Pace Joint

Recently I checked out Pace Joint in Hollywood. It’s a tiny storefront with a pretty patio. You order at the counter and they’ll run the food out to you. It’s also BYOB. Conveniently there’s a wine shop across the street.
My friend and I decided to split a salad and a pizza. I would have also liked to have tried the pasta but that probably would have been too much cheese for us lactose intolerant folks.
If there was a beauty pageant for salads, I would like to submit this beet salad from Pace Joint. It was so darn beautiful and also quite tasty.
Mama G’s – sausage pizza
The pizza was surprising to me– it was not only good but the crust was actually my favorite part! So rich and buttery! We got the Mama G’s which is a sausage and fennel pizza.
I really liked this spot. Everyone was really very nice and I’m coming for the spaghetti bolognese or lasagna next time!
