Hollywood: Drinks at the Ever Bar/ Klimpton Everly Hotel

 

 

After watching Hamilton at the Pantages Theatre, we headed over to the Ever Bar at the new Klimpton Everly Hotel. The entire hotel is very beautiful and modern. There was some sort of office holiday party that just let out a bunch of folks so the lobby bar seemed more crowded that usual. It took a few minutes to order but the drinks came out quite speedily.

I opted for the daiquiri riff, the Say Wha? which uses one of my favorite gins, the St. George Terroir gin. The cream avocado made it a bit like a shake which made it a great dessert drink.

My friend had the classic  Rusty Nail with Monkey Shoulder blended scotch whisky. I like this drink for the almond-flavored liqueur, called creme de noyaux. Tempus Fugit makes a good one.

I’ll have to come back to try the food. I saw someone had the burger and it looked really delicious with a thick patty.
