SGV: Lunch at Sunrise Social Company in El Monte
Earl Grey milk tea
I was going to get pho for lunch when I noticed a new place next door to LTK called Sunrise Social Company.
They only had lunch specials that day. I got the feeling they recently opened and didn’t have a full menu going.
pickled cabbage
I ordered an Earl Grey milk tea and then the braised pork special which came with pickled cabbage (Chinese kimchi).
Ooh, this was spicy!
braised pork belly rice
The braised pork turned out to be pork belly and was served with a heaping pile of rice and a perfect hardboiled tea egg.
It was a simple lunch and just right for the day.
