SGV: Checking Out Bhanu Indian Grocery

 

 

I met up with a vegan friend. I usually pick all-Vegan/ Vegetarian restaurants when I visit with her. Generally we like Indian or Ethiopian food for our meet ups. I was happy when I found Bhanu. Not only were there vegan options but there were meat ones for me!

I decided to get the goat curry combo which came with saag (spinach, my favorite!). I love combos because I like trying a lot of different dishes. And this is a great way to do so. Not only did the curry come with rice but also naan. And you had a choice of garlic or plain.

The curry was very flavorful. And since I love lentils, I was really into the dal as well.

Bhanu is also a grocery store. I loved looking through the aisles but I know I’ll just get take out or sit down for a meal with Bollywood videos playing in the background.
