Koreatown: Yuzu Shio at Iki Ramen

 

Another late night in Koreatown. What to eat?

Then I remembered I had wanted to try Iki Ramen.

We got in just in time to enjoy a comforting bowl of noodles on a chilly night.

Since it was later in the evening, I wanted the yuzu shio. While I really liked the broth of the yuzu shio at Afuri in Portland, Iki was delicious in every aspect from the broth to the springy noodles to the perfect slices of tender pork.

 

 

Oh, to start, I got the seaweed salad for a little nibble. I probably didn’t need it but I justify any veg as good for me.

I recently saw Iki ramen now has a tasting menu and I’m intrigued enough to go back to check it out. In the meantime, I’m dreaming of their ramen.
