Thaitown: Ruen Pair

After spending a lot of time in East Hollywood lately, it’s natural to look towards Thaitown for some late-night grub after a stop at Harvard & Stone. We had checked out Brian Summers at the back R&D bar.
Last week, we popped in for some noodles at Ruen Pair. I was trying to decide which duck noodles to get and our friendly server said to go with the stewed duck.

After a rum tasting, this flavorful broth and noodles hit the spot. It was especially great since the spicy pork salad inflamed my mouth and made the noodles spicy as well!
Actually, I really enjoyed the pork as well. The meat wasn’t tough at all and the leftovers made a nice scramble in the morning.
The best part? Uber cheap.
