Ludlows Cocktail Company’s Jelly Shots Now Available in Stores
Planter’s Punch at Spare Room
Remember that time when I went bar hopping with Ludlows Cocktail Company to sample their five excellent jelly shots flavors? Well, they’re finally available in stores!
The five flavors are: Planter’s Punch, Old Fashioned, Fresh Lime Margarita, Moscow Mule and Meyer Lemon Drop.
Old Fashioned at Littlefork
The first cocktail crawl involved Hollywood. We went to Littlefork, Sadie and Spare Room. We got a cocktail with each jelly shot. I loved the presentation of the giant punch bowl at Spare Room. And Littlefork stayed true to the boozy Old Fashioned whiskey cocktail. I do suggest loosening the jelly shot with a spoon before consuming. Or go college frat party style and use your tongue (haha!).
Sadie had the most interesting Moscow Mule to go with the jello shot. Let’s just say theirs involves a little whisky to pep up your step.
Fresh Lime Margarita at the Brig
Then we hit Venice starting with Townhouse with Old Fashioneds, trekked over to the Brig for margaritas and ended at Sunny Spot with punch. Everyone loved the Coolhaus treats and gift bags at the end as well!
And the last crawl took place in Downtown Los Angeles starting at Peking Tavern who paired the Planter’s Punch jello shot with their own Wong-Chiu punch. Next we headed over to Mas Malo for margaritas and jello shots.
Down in the cut at Honeycut
But it all went down at Honeycut at the end. Bottles of their drinks on tap were (almost) free flowing with our Moscow Mule jelly shots.
